2017 VIRGINIA CHAPTER ANNUAL CONFERENCE

Designing Schools for Future Makers

A Message from the President

The Virginia Chapter Board of Directors of the Association for Learning Environments (VA4LE) welcomes you to the 2017 Annual Conference. We hope you will benefit from the program we’ve created. Our theme this year – Designing Schools for Future Makers is intended to provide a resource for excellence with thought-provoking ideas that help deliver value to all attendees. Our effective keynote speakers and breakout sessions by practitioners will address innovative and relevant ways of teaching and learning to continually improve and inspire the environments that help today’s and future students succeed globally and thrive.

VA4LE is committed to serve our membership and promote creative and responsible planning of PreK-12 school facilities, to foster professional development, and to exchange best practice knowledge in order to provide the foremost possible learning environments for all students. If you have not become a member of VA4LE, we encourage you to do so. You will have access to one of the best sources of school related design that exists. Go to our website, www.va4le.org for details as well as information on all our programs and events. Conference related presentations will be posted there after the conference is concluded. Thank you for attending the conference and enjoy the learning and fellowship experiences.

We also want to sincerely thank the many organizations for their financial sponsorship and dedicated support that help make this conference possible. We truly appreciate their support and value our relationships with them. They, as is true of all our members, are interested in the success of students.
